We're Not Your Typical Architecture Firm

Started in 2012 with three architects, two laptops, and way too much coffee. Now we're a team of passionate designers who actually give a damn about the planet.

Building Smarter

How We Got Here

Look, we didn't start this studio to just make pretty buildings. Back in 2012, Vancouver was growing like crazy, and honestly? A lot of new developments felt soulless. Cookie-cutter condos and commercial blocks that didn't care about the neighborhoods they were dropping into.

Our founders - Maya, Chen, and Roberto - met at a green building conference and realized they all shared the same frustration. They wanted to prove you could design spaces that people actually want to live and work in, while also not trashing the environment. Crazy idea, right?

Fast forward to today, and we've grown to a team of 24. We've tackled everything from single-family homes to mixed-use urban developments. But here's what hasn't changed: we still obsess over every detail, we still push for sustainable solutions even when it's the harder path, and yeah, we still drink way too much coffee.

Krythonverse Studio Office
Our Vancouver Studio

Where the magic happens. Fourth floor with killer views of the mountains.

What Drives Us

Creating buildings that work with nature, not against it. Designing spaces that communities actually need. Making sustainability the standard, not the exception.

Our Journey So Far

Milestones that actually mattered to us

2012
The Beginning

Three architects decided to break out on their own. First office was basically a renovated warehouse space in Gastown.

2015
First Big Win

Landed the Harbourside Residential project. 42 units, all LEED Gold. Put us on the map locally.

2019
Urban Planning

Expanded into urban design. Started working with city planners on neighborhood revitalization projects.

2023
National Recognition

Won Canadian Green Building Award for the EcoTech Campus. Moved to our current Pender Street location.

How We Actually Work

No corporate jargon, just our real approach

We Listen First

Seriously, we spend the first few meetings just listening. What do you need? What bugs you about your current space? What's your budget actually look like? We can't design something good if we don't get what you're trying to achieve.

Team Discussion

Sustainability Isn't Optional

Look, we're not gonna design you a building that's gonna guzzle energy and cost a fortune to maintain. Every project gets the sustainability treatment - passive solar, proper insulation, efficient systems. It's just how we roll.

Collaboration Over Ego

We work with your contractors, engineers, and local community. Architecture isn't a solo sport. The best projects happen when everyone's actually talking to each other instead of fighting over whose idea is better.

Transparent Process

No surprise fees, no mysterious delays. You'll get regular updates, honest timelines, and straight talk about what's working and what's not. We're building a relationship, not just a building.
